Oujda or Nador: two airports for Saïdia
Oujda Angads Airport is the most used: the road to Saïdia goes through Ahfir and then down to the coast, about an hour. Nador El Aroui Airport is the other gateway, a little further, along the coast road. The table in this guide covers arrival through Oujda. The three ways to reach the club
The operator or hotel shuttle
Many stays at Iberostar Waves Saïdia are sold with the transfer included by the tour operator: a coach waits for the guests of the same flight and serves several hotels. Check your confirmation. Otherwise the hotel can arrange a car, on the hotel's terms.
A taxi outside the airport
Shared "grand taxis" wait in front of the Oujda terminal. The fare is agreed before you get in, in dirhams, and small notes help. For a family with a baby and holiday luggage, the seat is not guaranteed and the boot fills up quickly; for a couple travelling light, in daytime, it is a simple option.
A private transfer booked in advance
You book online before you leave. Your driver waits at the arrivals exit with a sign bearing your name, loads the luggage and drives you straight to the club reception, with no stops. On arrival: four things that make it easy
- Switch your phone on as soon as you land: your driver can message you to say where he is.
- Collect your luggage, then look for the sign with your name at the arrivals exit.
- Confirm the destination: "Iberostar Waves Saïdia, near the marina". The resort has several large hotels side by side; the full name avoids any confusion.
- Check that the child seat requested at booking is fitted before you set off: it was prepared for you.
Arriving late or early
Flights to Oujda sometimes land in the evening. The private transfer runs at any hour. Between midnight and six in the morning a night supplement applies and is shown before payment. The club expects you at the time you gave, and the driver drops you at reception.
During your stay
